I am a 20 year old female and have on and off vaginal itching and have had one partner for that whole time, get yearly exams and am totally clean. my doctor thinks i just get yeast infections but i dont think thats what it is. i also have itching and painful bowel movements. so i am thinking it could be hemmoroids or maybe even pin worms im freaking out about it but im also pretty paranoid about gross stuff! HELP! does anyone know anything about this? thanks so much!

  1. i dont know about this specifically, but you should see another doctor to get a second opinion. the bowel movement pain could be totally unrelated to the yeast infection.

  2. Do you take birth control pills? When I took them, I had an almost never ending yeast infection. When I stopped taking them, they went away and I haven’t had one since. Does your boyfriend have any itching? If so, you could be passing something back and forth between you. I’m not impressed with your doctor. I think you should get a second opinion.

  3. Did you try another doctor or an ob/gyn? I know this sounds gross but after you have a bowel movement…look at it, if there are pin worms, you will see them. As for painful bowel movments: try a mild stool softner, drink water, eat fiber containing food and again talk with you doctor. As for the vaginal itching, sounds silly but did ALL the soap get washed off?

  4. Go get A new Doc. that should not be happening unless you are allergic to some thing that you changed or if it happens be for your period then that is normal. but go see a doc,

  5. AVOID colored toilet paper, also scented soaps , do NOT use douche. Do NOT use feminine products with deoderants in them. Problem solved.

Have your say!
