  2. Hi,

Eczema is fairly easy to cure. You can watch this video of a cure used in Japan. It does take a few months, and if you had been using steroids, it will take a few more weeks.

You can place a wanted add on http://craigslist.com and will usually be able to ask for some 8.5 PH drinking water and get a response. I make alkaline water at home in a processor that will also make the 2.5 PH water used to treat eczema on the skin. You drink the 8.5 - 9.0 PH water, and then treat the skin with the 2.5 PH water. Keep the skin damp with the 2.5 PH water for several hours a day, and the skin will clear up in about 3 months. You will start to see it clear up in a month or so.

    Good Luck!

  3. Hi, I work for a dermatology group and I will share what I know on the eczema:

If the eczema is flaring and is red and itchy:

Use very mild cleanser such as Cetaphil liquid cleanser for sensitive skin. Don’t use anything antibacterial or with perfume. Dove for sensitive skin is also good.

Keep the area moisturized with Cetaphil for sensitive skin lotion. The reason I recommend Cetaphil is because I use it and have not found anything more mild than this and it is highly recommended for all kinds of skin conditions.

Wear 100% cotton as other fabrics can irritate the condition. Especially over the irritated sites.

Use dye free and perfume free laundry detergent.

Take Zyrtec or Allegra or Claritin for the itching and sometimes the antihistamine helps calm the condition.

Definitely see the dermatologist, he will give her a steroid cream that will really help soothe the flaring down.

I don’t know if I would keep going with the hair dryer. If the rash is oozing or draining, or red and raw, defintely let the skin doctor’s office know this when you call for an appointment, they may get her in sooner.

    Good luck.
